The cinema-restaurant takes over the vacant iPic space


LOOK Dine-In Cinema, a tech-driven Dallas, Texas-based film company, takes over the former iPic Theater in Rivertowns Square from Dobbs Ferry.

The opening date for their very first location in Westchester is December 9.

The eight state-of-the-art auditoriums, which have been relocated with heated leather lounge chairs and surround sound technology, will focus on Hollywood content but will also feature concerts, sports and live performances and will be available for corporate events. .

Dobbs Ferry's former iPic Theater will reopen on December 9 as LOOK Dine-In Cinema, a full-service, technology-focused eight auditorium venue.

And yes, the food will be part of the experience as well.

Company CEO and founder Brian Schultz said the company prides itself on cooking with freshly made ingredients, such as sushi, hand-breaded chicken fillets, making your own. pizzas and craft cocktails (in addition to beer and wine), all of which will be delivered to your seat by scanning or typing in a QR code.

The adjoining restaurant space, which was the former City Perch Kitchen + Bar (part of the iPic Theater), will eventually reopen under a new name and menu. “We are taking a two-step approach and will open the theater first,” said Schultz. “The second phase will be the reopening of the restaurant.”

The iPic theater closed in 2019.

To celebrate the inauguration of LOOK Dine-In Cinemas, Dobbs Ferry will be offering a special promotion until the end of the year with 25% off food and non-alcoholic drinks. And, on Tuesdays, they’ll be offering a reduced all-day ticket price of $ 5. In addition, the first show of the day, all week, will be available for $ 5.

Schultz launched the company in June and currently has six locations in Texas, California and Arizona. Dobbs Ferry is its seventh place and it does not exclude other locations in the region.
