Rust gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed steps out in Bullhead City, Arizona after being named in costume by Halyna Hutchins’ family

Rust gunsmith Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was pictured Saturday in Bullhead City, Ariz., for the first time she’s been spotted since being named in a lawsuit filed by the family of the late director of the photograph of Rust Halyna Hutchins following her death on set last fall.
Gutierrez-Reed, 24, was spotted heading to the tattoo parlor in Belton, where she worked as a receptionist, the New York Post reported.
Gutierrez-Reed donned a black hoodie with a chest graphic, along with blue jeans with teardrops and black boots as she carried a box to go. She had a black handbag over her shoulder and had her separate pair on the day out.

Gutierrez-Reed has been at the center of litigation following the fatal Oct. 21 shooting in New Mexico in which former Colt .45 revolver star Alec Baldwin, 63, was offloaded, killing Hutchins, 42 years old.
The fatal incident involving Hutchins happened during a rehearsal on the set of Rust at Bonanza Creek Ranch. The cinematographer died after being airlifted to the University of New Mexico hospital following the shooting.
In January, Gutierrez-Reed sued the supplier of ammunition used on the set of the Western film, Seth Kenney, owner of PDQ Media Arm & Prop, claiming in court that the company had led to ‘live rounds to be introduced on the New Mexico film set’ after selling blank and live cartridges packaged together.
Hutchins is survived by her husband Matthew Hutchins and son Andros. His family last week named Gutierrez-Reed in a lawsuit in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, against Baldwin and the film’s producers, claiming that their “reckless conduct and harm reduction measures costs” had created an unsafe work environment that “led to the death of ‘Hutchins, the PA reported.

Lawyers for Hutchins’ family said Baldwin refused to practice for the crossover motion he was doing for the camera when he shot him. A lawyer for the actor said claims that Baldwin had been reckless with the gun were “entirely untrue”.
baldwin said ABC in December that he “did not pull the trigger” while holding the gun that fired. He said he pointed the gun off-camera on instructions from Hutchins: “I would never point a gun at anyone and pull the trigger.” Never.’
In Gutierrez-Reed’s lawsuit in January, the gunsmith’s lawyers said she was not present when Baldwin practiced the crossover motion and no one told her what was happening.

“If Hannah had been recalled, she would have re-inspected the gun, and at every turn, and instructed Baldwin in safe firearm practice with the cross draw, as was his usual practice,” the attorneys said. by Gutierrez-Reed. “Hannah would never have let Baldwin point the gun at Halyna, as part of standard gun safety practices. Apparently no one inside the Church stopped Baldwin from doing so.
Gutierrez-Reed, whose father is longtime gunsmith Thell Reed, had only worked on one film before Rust, a Nicolas Cage film called The Old Way. She said on the podcast Voice of the West in September that the “scariest thing about” his job was “loading blanks.”
Rust director Joel Souza, 48, was also shot in the shooting and survived his injuries.
