In an interview with Sunday Scoop, he said: “I felt sad about this statement because I knew how close we were in the house and how much he would miss me and vice versa. Our friendship was fairly mutual, peaceful and without drama. ”
When asked why he was on the reality show, the singer replied, “I wanted to participate because I believe BBN is one of the biggest platforms to show its capabilities to the world. I needed this opportunity to show the world my talent.
Jaypaul also disagreed with people who feel BBN applicants do not deserve to be granted celebrity status. He added, “Everyone who has been through this (game) deserves all the levels of respect and accolades they receive. BBN is a social experience that reveals the true nature of humans. For someone, coming in and showing their true self to millions of people and winning love on the outside is worth celebrating.
On what he intends to do with his newfound fame, Jaypaul said, “I intend to inspire other people who have dreams; so they know they can shine on the biggest stage. I will use every opportunity I have to spread love, peace and unity with my talents.
He also noted that he would like to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. He said: “I would love to pursue a career in film and music. I would also like to host TV shows and events. I also want to become a pioneer of mobile cinematography in Nigeria.
