310 houses with double bedrooms ready to be occupied


Hyderabad: 310 houses with double rooms are ready for occupancy in Banda Maisamma neighborhood in Bansilalpeta of Sanath Nagar. They were built with a cost of Rs 2,365 lakh.

The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has set a target of building 1 lakh 2BHK in 111 locations around Hyderabad and has so far completed the construction of over 70,000. The houses will soon be allocated to those who need, says a government press release.

State Housing Minister Prashant Reddy and Livestock, Fisheries and Cinematography Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav will inaugurate the Banda Mysamma twin-bed houses in Bansilal Peta in Sanathnagar constituency on Sunday .

310 houses in Bansilalpeta have been built in 5 blocks in S+5 pattern. In every 560 square feet, one house worth Rs. 7.75 lakhs has been built. The Dignity Colony was built with a particular focus on easy access to amenities.

The cement road, drainage and power poles will be installed at a cost of Rs 232.50 lakhs. Dignity Colony also has 350m cement concrete road, 300m sewer line, sump pit for drinking water with capacity of 100 KL, street lights, 11 elevators and 16 commercial shutters to prevent settlement residents from going out for other items.
